First off I want to ward off any dreamers or anyone thinking this is a mistake, yes asking price is 5,500 obo, I dont want to be low balled to death so dont bother. Anyone looking for a beautiful, completely restored Sea-Doo 2-stroke that looks better than anything around today, proceed reading. I've taken a 1996 SPX body and brought it back to better than factory. The hull was in good/no cracks condition, I sanded, fiberglassed, primed, painted, and clearcoated the entire hull in high gloss black. The upper portion of boat was stripped of all original decals and mats and cleaned thoroughly before applying a top quality all weather vinyl wrap. This is no thin cheap sticker. New custom Blacktip Jetsports traction mats were installed as well as a new custom seat cover. A sound system was installed featuring Kicker marine speakers and for being as small as they are they really play loud. Bluetooth receiver to top it off, just sync your phone and it plays. New handlebar grips installed. Added an electric automatic bilge pump with handle switch. Twin lithium batteries installed to ensure no power sapping from stereo and ski always starts. As for the powertrain, a new rebuilt SBT 717 Rotax motor was installed with approximately 8 hours on including the 3-4 hours break-in time and ensuring everything works properly. New driveshaft, new rebuilt jet pump and impeller with anti-rattle cone. Motor has been changed to pre-mix, so you never have to worry about the oil pump going out and ruining your motor. TDR waterbox makes this thing sound great, not much of a power adder, just sounds good but she'll go 52 in good conditions with a 165lb rider. The acceleration is great, 2-strokes are known for this. Gauges all work and the famous VTS going out is fixed with the Trim Fix module installed. New starter, new stator, charging system works. This thing was built with no expense spared and it was made to sell, that means i'm not selling you my old junk that doesnt work, or my project that I ran out of funds for. This is a complete running project Sea-Doo SPX that rides great and is a blast to ride. This thing turns heads! I am negotiable on the price, I dont want it sitting around, but please be realistic, many hours and money put into this build. Looking for someone who appreciates that. Anyone really interested with cash in hand can test ride it by themself, I want you to see how much of a blast it is!
