1985 Honda ATC 250R 1985 Honda ATC 250R freshly rebuilt. Original purchase date 12-13-15 from Victorville, CA where the bike was sitting in a barn for 15+ years. The bike was not ridden, not running and became a home for mice and spiders. Bike has a clear history, and comes with a bill of sale. The bike was completely restored over the past two years, with quality parts, and care. Engine: New Hot Rods Crank, Fresh 67.0 mm bore (work done by: Jerry Hall's Precision Racing), fit with new 67.0 mm Wiesco piston, 36mm Keihin flat-slide carb, Trinity handmade pipe and silencer (fresh repack). High heat primered, painted cylinder and cases. Powder coated chrome side covers and cylinder head. New Honda crank bearings, rebuilt water pump, radiator hoses, clutch, super-stock reeds with reed cage protectors and stuff, gaskets, and fluid. All engine parts inspected and serviced according to OEM specifics. Body: ALL NEW BEARINGS AND SEALS. Seriously, all of them. Frame powder-coated red with OEM stickers, front forks polished, triple tree polished, +5 powder coated swingarm (1985 style (custom extension plate cover), new billet carrier, new EBC disc, custom brake arm extension, and custom air box eliminator kit. Powder coated Chrome: shock linkage, radiator brackets, and thumb-throttle, hand and foot brake levers, rear brake caliper mount, and kick starter, pipe and silencer. Powder coated Red: frame, rear brake caliper mount, rear brake disc hub, engine mounts, and kick starter. Powder coated Gold: Front wheel hub, rear wheel hubs, swingarm Powder coated Black: Rear engine mount Polished parts: Front forks (Maxima 15w fork oil), triple tree, handlebars Brake calipers rebuilt and painted with duplicolor caliper paint, rebuilt master cylinders, with new stainless steel brake lines. 3" polished spacers on rear axle with OEM aluminum rims and new STI tech tires (22x7-11 front, 20x10-9 rear). Rear shock professionally rebuilt with valves and seals for a +5 swingarm, #325 powder coated spring to accommodate the extension and a 215-295 lb. rider. New sprockets, and chain (13 front, 39 rear). Fenders are new white hand laid fiberglass. Tank was polished to near perfection with white Maier shrouds. Engine broken in with VP110 and Yamalube 32:1 mix. Engine ice in the radiator. Honda transmission fluid (80w/85w). The engine has only a few hours on for break-in purposes. Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility; however, I have an associate (Mike) that arranges shipping for DIY Transport, and will be able to partner with the buyer to accommodate shipping.
