Update to video and why asking price has decreased, I switched to strait gasoline in the tank and its cylinder overheated and seized.
Update to the video, I bought a new OEM flasher relay, and all of the turn signals work great now.I bought this near St. Albans VT.
I rebuilt it about 90% so far.
It ran, drove, and still brakes great.
All lights and horn work well.
I drove it on the road every day before the seize in order to break in the new engine and crankshaft. It is currently registered and plated in my name in VT until 03/18, and I am ready to sell it.
I am a student, and have taken it with me to school in Montreal, Quebec Canada.
I have put in a little more then $800 USD in new parts.
Its come with a size L off road Snell approved helmet.
Also comes with a good quality U lock. Here is a list of what was done to it so far:New crankshaft, bearings and seals.
New piston, rings, bearing, cir-clips, cylinder, head, gaskets and NGK spark plug.
New reed valves, carburetor, and air filter.
New Turn signal relay.
New fuel and oil lines.
New Battery(not OEM).
New upholstery done on the seat myself.
New rear turn signals with correct 6v bulbs in them.
New tires AND tubes in front and back.
New NOS speedometer housing with lights.
New brake cables, new choke cable, new throttle and oil injection cables, lots of new wiring.
New rubber for kick start.
Rebuilt oil pump with new seals.
New NOS bearing and seals all around, and new speedometer gear seal.
New brake shoes in front and rear. You need to pick it up from me on or near Montreal, or if you pay for my gas I can meet you at any Canadian border crossing.
Please call 4383960742 if you have any questions.I DO NOT SHIP SORRY.I can sell it to a Canadian as well, but there will be 15% tax at the border to import it, plus it will need an $80 inspection. You will also need to go to a certified Yamaha dealer to get a "Letter of Evaluation" for about $65 because it is considered antique in Qc.
