I purchased this pair of Yamaha Triple 600 touring sleds in 2014 on eBay for $5500 from a man that bought them from the original owner who was getting out of snowmobiling.  It is readily apparent that both sleds have been always stored indoors and have been well maintained.  The VIN numbers are sequential meaning they came off the line together. They had about 900 miles on them when I got them in 2014. The VIN numbers are 8EB-005897 and 8EB-005898.  I'll describe them by referring to the last three number of their VIN's.  (897) has 2653 miles on it and (898) has 2687 miles on it.  (897) has scratches on the right side from tipping over on a ice by the original owner.  We always had the kids ride that one because of the scratches and I was sure they would probably tip it over and add more scratches anyway. They never did.  Two years ago my wife and I hit a rut on a trail and tipped (898) over on a trail and put very similar scratches on it.It also got a couple scratches on the front side of the RH mirror.  The kids never let me live that down. The scratches are only cosmetic. The cowlings are crack free and the mirror mounts are sound. Both sleds run very well and have never had a breakdown in the 1600 miles that we have put on them.  Both sleds have been greased and had the chain case oil replaced since last season which was way too short!  The fuel has Amsoil stabilizer in it and I have been running Amsoil injector oil in them. The carbide runners on the skis are in good condition. Both sleds got new plastic skins on the skis last year.  The batteries are two years old and in good condition.  I load test them before each season.  I put charge connectors on both sleds and they are kept on a battery tender.  The hyfax should be replaced within the next 300 miles. I have changed the hyfax every year but last year did not put that many miles on them. The seats on both sleds are in excellent condition with no tears or scratches  and are comfortable to sit on.  The heated hand grips for the driver and passenger are in good working order. All of the gauges and lights are working correctly.  The back rests adjust for one or two rider by pulling a lever like the seat recline on your car.  There are no studs in the tracks and we have never felt that they were needed. We cracked one of the taillight lenses (on 897) while moving the sled in the garage.  I saw one on eBay and will order it and get it replaced. What we don't like about these sleds is the smell of the two stroke engine that gets on your clothes after a day of riding.  Also, these machines set lower to the ground than the newer sleds.  I had back surgery last year and got a 2016 Arctic Cat Pantera and would like to get another one.  These sleds would be perfect for a family on a budget that wants to get into this very expensive sport at a reasonable cost or someone that has a place near the trails and would like to have extra machines for their guests to ride that are reliable. I have been on eBay for a long time and have always gotten 100% positive feedback. Your satisfaction is very important to me.  To my disappointment, Kelly Blue Book has the value of these sleds at $1575.  Given their great condition, I would like to get $4000 for this unique pair of well attended machines.  I may consider lower offers or breaking up the pair if they don't sell by November but please don't send any low offers before then.
