For sale my Yamaha Kodiak Bear Quad I bought the quad about two years ago. It had seen very little use showing 1500 kilometres. I stripped the quad down and had the racks wheels brackets foot pegs and any other metal components sand blasted and powder coated. I fitted a new winch and a set of new road legal tyres on it, I also fitted a new rear shock and service kit plug and air filter. I changed all the oils on the bike which runs great. The bike has drum brakes front and back and is semi automatic they come with high and low gears and also reverse. It is permanent four wheel drive and comes with a tow ball.I wanted to register it for the road and found out it was a Canadian import and it had not been sold by Yamaha UK so could not prove duty had been paid. So I have sorted this and have the Nova number that is needed as proof duty has been paid I also have the registration document forms. The only thing that stopped me doing this was the price of insurance that I need before I could carry on with registering it. It has sat in the garage for the last 12 months connected to my trickle charger and I cant see me getting much use of it so it is time to sell it.The worst part of the bike is the plastics they are scratched and discoloured but not cracked. I have built a snow plough for the quad and this is for sale with the bike only if the full asking price is given. the quad rides as good as new all the bushes and joints are perfect brakes have been cleaned and adjusted to manufactures specifications.
