The Motoped Pro. American made in Kansas City. This one in our stock has the optional footpeg kit installed, but comes with the pedal kit also, so you get both. Run it with pedals one week and swap to the pegs the next. Up to you. This is a $319 option.One of the best things about the bike is that you can actually ride around town, even on the bike paths, with no registration (in most places). Roll up on this to a traffic light next to someone on a little scooter. A Motoped makes a 49cc street scooter look wimpy. Engine: This is the 49cc model. The engine is made by Lifan making the Motoped as reliable as it is fast. For the 49cc, Motoped actually commissioned Lifan to build this motor with a special 2 speed automatic transmission, which you will not find anywhere else. Lifan is the "King" of the Honda clone engines. If your new to the powersports world, this is basically the same engine honda has used in their famous Z50 and CT70 since the 1960s. The motor is used today in the CRF50, and several others in the Honda line up. This is probably the most produced powersports motor of all time - Its very easy to work on and has tons and tons of aftermarket parts available. Also, there are about 20 different motors that bolt right in from 50cc to 190cc.Suspension: Full hydraulic front forks and rear shock, just like a MX or downhill Mountain bike! Rocky Trails, City Streets, curbs, jumps, etc...soaked up like a MX bike on the Motoped Pro. Go out and ride with your buddies that have street scooters and kick some ass. Drive System: Motopeds patented drive system takes power from the Engine or the pedals, whichever is providing more power. Want to get hard core with your buddies in the trails? Unbolt the pegs and pop on the Motoped Peg Kit.
