My 1982 Ski Doo Blizzard 5500 MX is for sale, in excellent original condition. Manufactured in July of 1981, it has a 503 cc air-cooled Rotax engine, twin Mikuni carbs, oil injection, and CDI ignition.  When I bought this sled years ago, it had only 258 miles. It currently has just under 400 miles.  There are a few minor dents in the belly pan and a few very minor chips on the hood, but considering this snowmobile is 34 years old, it is in nearly perfect condition.  Very rare to see one even close to this condition.  It has the original foam insulation pads still intact under the hood!!  The windshield has no cracks, the seat cover has no rips or tears with good solid foam. Maintenance was been done using NOS parts whenever available.Please look closely at the engine compartment photos to see the cleanliness and condition of the parts. This would be a perfect sled for a collector or enthusiast seeking a low mileage, original sled in top condition.  It is far beyond average....you will not be disappointed in the quality.The engine starts up easily, and runs smoothly throughout the entire speed range (I just rode it around my property yesterday).During yesterday's ride I noticed the tachometer and front headlight are currently not working.  Also, the right side hood strap came loose from the hood, and will need to be reattached.We have just moved (downsizing) and I don't have access to all my tools yet.  Also, we need to make space in our new smaller garage.This snowmobile includes the original SkiDoo "Operator's Manual" and SkiDoo "1982 Parts Catalog", and a reproduction "1982 Shop Manual" which is a 2-volume set in 3-ring binders.Located in Roanoke, IN 46783.  Buyer to arrange pick-up.  Can send more photos to a serious buyer.  Reasonable offers will be considered.Please let me know if you have any questions.
