Just in time for Christmas!!! Sad, but my children have outgrown it. Needs a new, good home. 1997 Arctic Cat Kitty Cat in very good condition. Very little use. Just fired it up for the 1st time in nearly 2 years (not much snow last year). 4 or 5 pulls of the cord and she fired right up, even with the old fuel! (Methonal treatment Stabil was always used.) I've owned this little Cat since 2003. The motor is bone stock-with very good compression. I did clean the carb 2 or 3 years ago-might need a little cleaning again. The bearings and shafts on the track were all cleaned and lubed at the same time. NEVER had wheel kit installed. The wheel kits allow kids to ride them in the summer. These were built for the snow! Summer riding with wheel kits adds a lot of extra dirt and wear and tear that these were not designed for. These Kitty Cats are known for getting stuck in just a few inches of snow. I added a 2 1/2" front spindle lift to help alleviate this problem. This raises the belly pan higher so it doesn't plow the snow and get stuck. The spindles are also 3" wider to compensate for the higher center of gravity. Rear is also lifted. I have all the original parts. I purchased the kit from a gentleman on Arctic Cat Kitty Cat Users Forum. He's a machinist by trade. He designed and fabricated an excellent product. Saved my back for sure.I hinged the front cowl with stainless steel piano hinge material. The factory plastic hinges are known to break--very common. The rubber straps that secure the cowl down are broken-I think I have new ones somewhere, I'll look for them. The original Kitty Cat cover is included. A little faded and few small tears, but still functional to keep the dust off. Also included, is an Arctic Cat helmet (size child's Medium). Perfect condition with original box. I paid over $100 for that alone, brand new in 2003. I do also have a service manual, new head gasket, new bumper trim, and a new performance clutch (never installed). The clutch will take the Kitty Cat up to 11 or 12 mph vs the stock one which will do 8 mph. I bought these parts with the intents of modification, but it never happened. One ski has a slight twist at the tip, but makes absolutely no impact to steering what so ever. E-mail me with any questions. I'd be happy to assist any way I can. I can also help with local delivery if needed. Thanks for reading...Ray
