Offered for auction is our Arctic Cat 700 Diesel Farm Quad Bike. The bike has had only light use, being used mainly for carrying hay/feed to and around our paddock. We had two of these bikes, one each, and they proved invaluable. We have now sold the paddock and have little use for the quad bike. The bike has always been very well looked after, stored in a dry barn, and serviced regularly. In truth, over the past few years the bike has probably been serviced more than it has been ridden. As anybody familiar with Arctic Cat will know, the 700 Diesel is a beast of a bike and extremely capable. It is a genuine two-seater, and the diesel engine has loads of torque. It will quite happily carry two people uphill all day long on a single tank of fuel. We bought the first of these quads to supplement a smaller Polaris petrol bike, and were so impressed with its ability that we bought a second in place of the Polaris. At the end of last summer (when we sold the paddock) the bike had a full service with an Arctic Cat specialist, including engine and gearbox oil and filters, air filter, coolant change, brake fluid change, new tyres, new battery, and a thorough clean along with refurb of various bits including the bull-bars and luggage racks (referred to by dealer as Gold service). Since then, the bike has barely turned a wheel and so the tyres are effectively brand new. The bike has a great specification, 700cc twin cylinder diesel water cooled engine, automatic CVT transmission with high, low and reverse, selectable 4wd or 2wd with front differential lock. Tow bar fitted. All works perfectly including all gears, 4wd/2wd selector, and differential lock. Engine starts on the button and drives excellently. Original (very handy) tool kit all present. Great bike which is not getting the use it deserves, and which I am sure a new owner will enjoy. Viewing welcome, although bear in mind that I am not usually home from work until around 8.00 pm weekdays. Cash on collection only please, not Paypal due to the high fees. Buyer to collect from Sheffield (S35) within 7 days of auction end please.I have also listed the quad for sale locally and so may be withdrawn from ebay if sold before auction end.
