ADVERT:Here we have the regrettable sale of my Apache 400 RLX CVT Sport Quad Bike: Move to Scotland faces sale.This is a very quick quad, capable of 70MPH (more than enough to scare!). Given a smooth or dirt surface it will happily do doughnuts all day long.Not currently road registered, but easy to do! Just register with DVLA (£125) and then MOT it, thats it.This quad is designed to be road legal for two people from the factory, so no there will be no problems with the MOT. If the new owner intends to register it then its a straightforward process via DVLA. Once registered it would need a MOT and you're then road legal.ONLY DONE 2446 MILES.FEATURES:Automatic transmission: select drive and go, very easy to ride.Reverse gear.It has a very frugal, fuel efficient 4 stroke OHV engine.Electric start.High and low drive ratios.Once registered: road legal for TWO people.Horn.Indicators.Steering lock.Alloy wheels.Uprated battery.Ken Block "hoonigan" graphics.This quad has just been serviced and has had over £200 worth of brand new parts fitted, including a complete rear plastic and a new starter clutch.I started it and rode it today (Wed 8th June), stops and starts as it should, brilliant fun and fast!As with all 2010 registered second hand ATV's there are always some minor battle scars (just being honest!).The front light lens has some hazing to it.The front white plastic has a crack which you can't really see as its covered up with white tape (been there the two years Ive owned it).The front light surround has been cracked in the past and has some cable tie repairs to it (again, been there the two years Ive owned it).Some of the paint on the chassis and engine side panels is a bit flaky.The dashboard works perfectly but the black skin that indicates which light is which has long gone (again, been there the two years Ive owned it).One of the mirror mount has sheared so the quad is fitted with after market mirror mounts.Brake light switch on front right brake lever has a loose connection.The gear selector plastic surround is a bit loose (happens on all Apaches I've seen).I have had loads of fun on this bike and it has never let me down. If you wanted to make it perfect it would be easy enough, the parts are cheap and very easy to get hold of. As it is, its in perfect working order, ready to ride or race.I have seen road registered ones on EBay fetch £2500, grab a bargain.Prefer cash on collection.
