For sale is my Artic Cat 300 4x4 farm quad.I haven't had a close look, but from memory I think it is a 1990 model.I've just upgraded to a newer Yamaha model, so this is now surplus to requirements. It a good solid machine, with 4x4 selector, reverse and semi automatic gearbox.I has headlights fitted, front and rear carriers, rear tow ball, good seat and a new battery last month.Doesn't get used much and probably could do with a tune, due to the fact it does less than 20 hours per year, but she runs fine when warm.No knocks, rattles or leaks, just a well looked after and genuine quad.Happy to assist with interstate shipping arrangements, at buyers expense, but local collection preffered.Pick up from Chandlers Hill, SA

If you look really hard, you will see it in the last picture, but its purely cosmetic and probably easily rectified with some araldite, but it never bothered me, so I haven't glued it.The bike also has just over 1000 hours on the clock, which cant be bad for a 1990's bike. The only fault with the electrics is that the little 'P' globes behind the gear indicators on the dash are blown, so you only get reverse and 1st indicated. I did actually buy a packet of these last year from Auto ban, but I misplaced them and didn't wan to buy another packet, as I was sure they would turn up one day :-)If I was to be really, really picky, the steering column top mounting bush is probably a bit worn through age, but its never bothered me enough to even consider replacing it, as its still very secure, it just has the slightest play that you don't expect on a brand new bike, but again this bike is old, so what do you expect. IT WONT FALL OFF and its not a safety issue. The only thing that I will say it does need, is the throttle adjusted properly. It starts and runs fine with choke, but when it gets warm its hard to settle the choke back enough for it to tick over without choke, so I know the mixture settings must be wrong, but that's outside my area of expertise and as I only ever ran it for less than 10 minutes each time it was used, I got used to it.The engine is very solid though and its purely an adjustment that's needed.I've been as honest as I can about this bike, mainly for those interstate that may be interested, as I don't want anyone to be disappointed.I can say that this will be a great buy for anyone under $2500, so grab a bargain whilst its still cheap. Thanks for looking
On 12-Jun-16 at 15:27:23 AEST, seller added the following information: Update:  The listing start price is my FINAL and only LOWEST price, so if you want it you may as well bid for it this weekend, as I won’t reduce it next week and maybe someone new will see it and buy it from under your feet next week if its relisted. Advertised elsewhere, so may end auction early.
