I purchased this scooter new last year. SYM (which stands for San Yang Motors) has been building scooters and motorcycles in Taiwan for dozens of years. They used to build Hondas for Honda until SYM starting building their own motorcycles and scooters and became a competitor. SYM manufactures several different models, and they are sold all over the world ... however, in the U.S. the 3 Japanese brands dominate the scooter market (Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha).You can read all the specs and see video at alliancepowersports dot com. I ordered this bike new from the importer in California. This scooter goes 72 MPH, and gets at least 65 MPG. New rear tire installed March 30th, and new drive belt installed within the last month. Lots of storage in huge seat compartment. It has always been garaged or under cover. I'm hopefully moving to South America and selling my belongings, so come check it out!You must pick up this scooter in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I will not ship this scooter nor prepare it for shipment. If you want, I can deliver it to your shipper in the Phoenix area, but you must handle all the details.
