Howdy Up on the chopping block is a running and drivable Survivor Vespa Allstate from 1955-56 era. Some scooterist may not like it. However, it is like a tree that grows, it has age that shows and can tell a story. I am not like others. I respect this age. And it receives more attention then any scooter I have ever built.I received this scooter back in San Antonio Texas, While I was working for the local Vespa dealer. I did a complete disassemble and reassemble on it. I replaced any part that needed to be replaced. Seals,Gaskets,Cables,Tires,Tubes,Bearings,wiring,switch,Bulbs,Rubber,Brake pads and so on. I tried my best to clean all the parts and to leave the OG finish alone. It is now a very reliable scooter. I runs great and it seems faster then a 150. It is not slow. It runs very well. Rust: I can tell you that this is not as bad as it looks. Please read on. I have had 1000's of these scooters in my life no joke 1000's. I have been at this hobby since I was 11 and I am now almost 50. I am the published author of How to restore and maintain your Vespa motorscooter book by MBI. The rust is not internal. It is external only. Except the front fender and lower left legsheild. I believe this happened while it was in storage.The tail light was removed and a universal light was installed(hence the bolt and flat strap above the tail light) along with a (they used cloth wire and bailing wire)universal brake switch. It looks and work's great.Shipping: Try U-Ship.com it is a eBay company and it has worked for me. The best price for sure. If the scooter needs to be put in a create that is no problem however you will have to pay for the time and wood. I can transport it to a Florida shipping company as well. This is also listed local.
