One of kind 1960 Vw dune buggy/towd. This unique car was custom built by a gentlemen in Whitter California in the mid 60's, I am the second owner. I purchased it through the estate when he passed a few years back.I completely restored and upgraded the car.The only thing I did not install is a speedometer and seat belts, which I personally didn't feel a need for. The buggy has a Pro Street transmission mated to a 2180cc stroker engine, it is short wheel based and Very light.This vhicle is Very Fast. I can pretty much guarantee it is one of the funnest cars on the road to drive.This buggy also turns everyones heads wherever it goes, my wife and I take it out on weekends to places such as Las vegas, Big bear lake, Arrowhead lake, Laguna beach, Hunigton beach ,just to name a few places out here in California. The car runs excellent and is reliable,Registered, insured and clean California title in my name.The buggy is located at my home in Apple valley California.It can be driven back to your home or towed, as it has a unique tow bar that hooks up to a hitch, hence the name "Towed".
