polaris 455     here we have a Polaris 455 diesel 2002.                                         Runs and drives well. Starts on the button. I took this bike on as a project and it was in a sorry state when I got ahold                               of  it. Since then I have spent a lot of time and money returning it to running condition. Selling due to i already have another                                       quad bike so i dont need two. I have also been around this bike since it was new and know its full history. theses diesels are good workhorses but are rather slow with a top speed of about 25-30mph. good points I did the following to this bike 1. Primary and secondary clutch rebuild kits installed2. front A arm bushes and pins replaced3. new brake pads front and back 4. new drive belt5. brand new tires on the front and good tiers on the back6. rear wheel bearing replaced7. front wheel bearing replaced8. cv boot fitted to one of the rear drives9. fitted new lower strut ball joints 10. all new steering joints 11. main front prop-shaft has new universal joints fitted this bike is also Agri registered so it is tax exempt and road legal.  bad points 1. could do with new bushes on the rear A arms and there is some play2. speedo does not work, could just be a wiring issue, I haven't really looked into it much 3.foot pedal brake does not work but the handle bar brake is a 4 wheel braking system anyway. 4. leaks a small bit of oil when is sat up for a while. (doesn't leak when running) 5. plastics are tatty and scratched  6. front bumper is split but is hidden by number plate. 7. front rack is damaged. none of these problems really hold the bike back at all and it is still in running condition and could be put to work right away. I have used thisbike on the road and off road logging and it has performed well, pulls a trailer very well. i have also included a spare cv boot kit, x2 front strutt bearing kits ( i ordered these accidentally) , new oil filter and its original headlights, i believe the fittings for the original lights are still tucked away on the bike.          I have tried to be as honest as possible with this sale. you bid to buy not haggle.no time wasters please .cash on collection
