This auction is for my 1987 Honda Big Red ATC250ES. They only made the Big Red for three years, 1985, 1986 and 1987. It is one of the best rigs Honda ever made, and the 1987 model is a bit harder to find than '85 or '86 models. I don't want to sell it but I need the money for other things at this time. This thing is in excellent mechanical condition for being a used 30 year old 3-wheeler. I've spent over $300 in new parts recently. It has a brand new battery, new brake pads on front and rear, new brake cables on both hand brakes and the foot brake, new front wheel bearings, fresh oil and filter change, new spark plug, and a new oiled UNI filter. It starts right up every time and doesn't smoke a single bit. All tires are good, and the rear tires are almost new. However, the front tire is showing some signs of dry rot from age. I took the racks off and had them sandblasted to bare metal and primed and painted a while back, but they have a few scratches and wear from riding. One issue is it needs new front fork seals. That is about it mechanically. Everything else on the bike is all original. The front and rear fenders are cracked, but the rear fenders have been previously repaired and are in decent shape overall. The seat has a couple small holes. This bike would be a great candidate for a restoration, or if you are looking for something to put to work and haul a deer out of the woods, it is ready. I still have the original owners manual. I'll be selling on a bill of sale only (no title), no trades. Selling As Is with no warranties. What you see is what you get and I have described this to the best of my ability. A $250 deposit through Pay Pal is due within 24 hours from auction end. Payment will only be accepted as cash or certified cashier's check, in person, or a full payment through Pay Pal. I have listed this with a fair reserve, and this is a good machine, so bid with confidence. I have this for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges and arrangements. I can deliver to a shipping company within a 30 mile radius.
