First off if you dont know what a Riva Stage 4 kit is, you most likely have no business looking at, much less buying these skis. These are the biggest baddest mofo's on any body of water except for the drag/race skis which are custom built and need rebuilding after every race. These skis get you almost all the performance of a drag or race ski in a usable, time after time after time, ski. The base ski is the Sea Doo RXT-260 which is still one of the fastest production skis ever. I then sent these to Jet Power at Lake Castaic, CA where I had them install both the Riva Stage 4 kits that I bought direct from Riva Racing in FL (on the web). After install they were taken out by the professional riders for tuning and safety checks. They had been barely broken in when I had them upgraded ie about 10 hours logged. They now are between 10 and 15 hours as I recall. The Jet Power staff reported these as doing TAIL STANDS !!!! Thats right... TAIL STANDS. So if you aint got the cajones to deal with these monsters check out all the other skis listed they are more your speed. I installed the billet hand controls for razor precise throttle control in hard cornering where a sloppy throttle can mean fresh water enema at 65MPH plus.... I also installed the highly recommended riva racing grip seats that have the textured grip that binds to the racing swim shorts with similar texture between the legs to hold your booty on these skis under hard acceleration lest you go squirting off like a wet watermelon seed at speed. Both these sit on a custom trailer that has a lockable fuel rack that holds and includes three 5 gal VIP fuel bottles. The trailer has a nice lockable diamond plate storage box that houses three top shelf never used life vests asst sizes. These skis have been impeccably stored in climate control in Palm Springs since purchase. The fickle finger of fate destroyed both my knees so I can no longer crawl my handicapped butt up onto them and hence have to cut them loose. Makes me ill thinking about it but getting old is hell. These skis are three person skis so they are big boats capable of handling the roughest water. The Riva kits allow single ski water skiiers to not just pop up instantly but fly out the water and onto their ski. They tow the biggest lake toys and are capable of death defying joy rides. It doesnt pay to buy cheap under powered skis. Life is short and you only go around once. These skis will leave you with something big to talk about in the locker room.... I have $55,000.00 into package. Reserve is much less. Just in time for the season!!!! |
