*** SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY PLEASE ***For Sale: ALL ORIGINAL CHRYSLER SNO RUNNER Chrysler originally manufactured these "Snow Bikes" from 1979 until 1982 for the US Military. After the military decided not to purchase the bikes, Chrysler began to de-tune some of the sno runners and made them available for sale to the public. Don't miss out on this opportunity to collect a vintage piece of Snowmobile / US Military History! Fewer than 20,000 Units were ever produced, with even less surviving to this day!!!This particular Sno Runner is an extremely early example, (Serial Number SR003738) that was sold by Chrysler in high performance military spec. Motor is pushing close to 12HP as opposed to the stock 7HP! These 2-Stroke 135CC Motors make for a very fun ride on the snow!!The Military-Spec Upgrades Include:- High Performance Exhaust (Worth $300+ By Itself)
- 15 Tooth Drive Sprocket w/ Shorter Drive Chain
- Thinner Head Gasket (Higher Compression)
- Stiffer Clutch SpringsIn addition to the Miltary-Spec Upgrades this Sno Runner has:- Super Rare "Racing Seat" - Narrower than the de-tuned models
- Clutch Cover Housing Guard
- Support Brace for heaver riders and lasting durabilityParts for these Sno Runners are readily available online on Ebay or at Snorunner.com
The motors for these bikes are also still produced today; Originally named "PowerBee 820" or "WestBend 820" now called the "US820" - Vintage Go Kart Racers know these motors are capable of pushing upwards of 25HP!!!I encourage all prospective buyers to do their own research on the Sno Runners. There is a cult following for these Sno Bikes!This Sno Runner has always been cared for and maintained religiously!
