Up for sale is a used 1986 Honda Fourtrax TRX250r. Selling for cheap. Bike runs and is mechanically sound, but could use some cosmetic love. I was going to build a MX race quad out of this machine, but I never got around to doing the project. Time to sell her off as I have too many projects and not enough room. And while this bike is no minter, it is all there and with a few items, would look great.
Condition notes:Front fenders trimmed Seat cover needs replacement, although seat foam and seat pan are good and can be reused
Rear fenders are cracked and should probably be replacedMotor runs good, looks to be on original bore and I dont think it was ever apartIncludes FMF PIpe and Nerf bars, both are in decent shape
Tires are goodBrakes goodAll bearings feel good, and parts are complete Upper part of chain guard was repaired, but its all there, see picsCalifornia Title in handShipping is available, enclosed and insured for $500, see more belowAdd a set of rear fenders and seat cover and graphics set and this bike would be good to go!
Overall this is not a normal mint bike that I normally might be selling, but but if you are looking for a good platform to build or restore a TRX250r, this is a great bike. I am listing it at the lowest price i want to sell for, so if I get just one bid and the person follows through (which does not always happen on ebay), then I am happy to sell it.

I can currently ship insured (with a $500 deductible) and enclosed anywhere in the USA for $500. If you live in Maine, Long Island or the Florida keys there is a surcharge, but outside of that, the shipping rate is $500 to anywhere in the lower 48.
I can and will ship international, but the buyer must coordinate this, as the process can be cumbersome. I will assist as best as possible and do have really good access to shippers to the UK, Europe and Australia. I can also ship to the middle east as well. But please note that all paperwork will be handled by the buyer. But please, no time wasters or tire kickers. If you are a serious buyer, it is available to be shown, but I am not looking for tire kickers or time wasters. Payment: A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of closing, or a friendly phone call or clear email on who you are and how you intend to close the deal. I am very easy to work with, but a little clear communication goes a long way with me. Paypal is fine for deposit, but the fee and commission they take is very high. We will take payment however is easiest for you for to send, as we understand that some buyers might be out of the country. Cash, bank to bank payment, bank check, Paypal, WU, Carrier Pidgin - whatever - but as long as it clears our bank and you are not playing the Nigerian lottery with me, I could care less how it comes. Just make sure it comes when you say it will come.
