For your consideration is my 1971 Arctic Cat Vintage 440 Puma with Kawasaki Engine. I am the 2nd owner of this snowmobile, and have owned it for almost 25 years. The sled is in very nice condition, and is a very strong running sled. There are no broken cleats, hifax have been replaced, new Cat skis / ski & shock bolts,
Carburetor has been rebuilt, and has Gem velocity stack with screen, new fuel lines, new engine seals center / outside seals, and the seat is a factory Cat replacement black seat which is in new condition, and very playable. Sled has an Arctic Cat speedometer, and safety tether switch that is operational. Head light works, but tail lights are not hooked up. The sled has always been garage kept, and has it's original cover that is not torn, but needs a couple seams re-sewed.We've run this sled every year since we own it, and have changed the fuel every year with new 93 octane with stabilizer. The tank is in excellent condition other than a fitting welded on the right side front corner for some odd reason. The chassis is straight as is the front pan, and hood / windshield. I believe with a little tunnel polishing this sled could be a show sled !!! There are new skags, cleats, Castrol high performance snowmobile oil, and some fasteners to go along. You will not be disappointed with this Cat, as it's ready to ride, and needs nothing !!!
