This is a great quad approx year 2004 Offroad ATV 4x4 Honda Foreman 450cc ES which means it has electric shift button gears. These are very good quad bikes and quite sought after and a very good model being the foreman. These are the flagships for HondaThe plastics are in great condition for year and do not have any major cracks or nasty scuffs to them and they are all complete. obviously they do have some marks to them which can be expected from working vehicles and i am sure will clean up and some light scratching in places and as you can see from the pictures. The front and back racks have checquered alloy plate fitted to them so you can carry a lot more bigger and smaller things on them The quad features a reverse option and 5 electric shift up/down button gears which are very easy to use and change gear all in good working order with gear changes smoothThe quad is a permanant 4x4. This is a beast of a machineThe quad has an electric push button start and it starts up fine and ticks over nice as can be seen from the video above and drives well with very smooth gear changes to the box. Reverse option also works fine. All gears are electric shift and all gears are changed by means of up and down arrows located on the handlebarsThe quad has very good brakes and all work however the front brake may need some slight adjustment has it doesnt quite hold as it should, hand brake is also in working orderThe quad is sitting on 4 excellent off road tyres with excellent tread almost like newThe steering & suspension are all good and work as they shouldThe quad has front and rear lights all of which work along with the central spotight to front and comes with one key. The 2 front lights are a little dim so may need bulbs replaced but central spot light is very brightThe digitial display also works perfectly and all lights up with the hours also showing 2997 hours from new and only 24,126 km's from new which is nothing for one of theseThe quad also features a tow bar on the back which will pull anythingThe quad has a good sweet engine as expected from Honda, starts on the electric button as can be seen in the video aboveThis is a very solid quad bike built very well as expected from honda with a good solid chasis and frame and sound mechanicallyThe make and model speaks for itself it is the honda 450cc Foreman 4x4The seat is very good for year however does have a couple of black tape strips over it so the small tears cannot be seen and looks great as it isThe quad is not currently road registered although i am told this is easily done. All you do is contact a honda quad main dealer fill out a form with some information pay them apprx £80 and they sort the rest. I am told it takes about 12 weeks in total but i have never done this myself2 MTH RTB WARRANTYI offer a 2 month return to base warranty against the engine and gearbox so if you have any major issues with the engine or gearbox within 2 months of purchase agreement which is the date you purchase on ebay then you can return the quad bike to us in gloucestershire or south wales for it to be fixed. There will be no refunds. The problem will be fixed, if the problem cannot be fixed beyond ecconomical repair then i reserve the right to replace the quad bike with a simular model. All general items like bearings, brakes, tyres and electrics are excluded from the warranty. The warranty only covers main engine componants and gearbox so you can bid with confidence and piece of mindPLEASE NOTE: The quads i sell are part ex off road vehicles. They are all checked mechanically before they get to me. Engine, gearbox, brakes, suspension and all levels are checked before i offer them for sale by a 3rd party mechanic as i am not a mechanic myself. The quads may have some paint touch ups and may be tidied up in places including frame, racks and other bits. These are off road vehicles so may have wear & tear, scuffs and marks, some things like bearings etc may have very slight play to them and anything with a lot of play or damaged will be replaced. Viewing is advised before bidding. All of the quads i sell start, drive and stop as they should unless otherwise stated in descriptionI am not a mechanic and dont know anything about the mechanics of the quad bikes. I do take them for a quick spin when received to check they run ok. If anybody is in any doubt then please view in person before biddingThe quads i sell are designed to work and will do that perfectly. They are not new quad bikes so please do not expect this. If you want a new one or are expecting a show winning quad then please buy one new from a main dealer.
