Here's a chance to purchase a very rare 1973 Ski-Doo Elite in original, good running condition.This first-generation Elite was sold from 1973 to 1975. It is the lightest of all 3 generations, and has the distinct advantage of being built using parts from many popular Ski-Doos of the era. The tracks, bogies, drive axles and sprockets were used on various Ski-Doo models from 1962-1996. The forward-reverse drive transmission components came from the Ski-Doo Alpine. The fan-cooled Rotax 440cc twin was used with minor modifications for decades.This one starts easily (electric start and pull start) and runs strong. No leaks in the 6.4 gallon gas tank. Front axles have new bearings, seals and drive sprockets. Tracks are in excellent shape. Fiberglass body is in great shape with a small ding in the front bumper and a minor past repair near the passenger side track. Original muffler in excellent condition. New Lexan windshield. The seats are dune-buggy seat covers over the original foam. The original seats will be included; could be used as a guide to make reproduction seats if desired.Electrical items including gas gauge, tachometer, parking lights, brake lights, horn, electric starter and charging system all work well. Strong yard tractor battery included.
