Here I am selling my project trike, the trike is 99% complete the final jobs are rear brakes need to be fitted, front brake line needed, indicators need fitting (wiring in place) rear sprocket needed to bolt to crown wheel, mud guards (if you want them) to be fitted, hand brake. I am selling this trike as I need the space in my shed for other projects in the making... I was initially building this machine for my wife but she prefers the comfort of her car lol. The trike is based around a Honda CB250..yep the good old super dream. The frame is a one off "hardtail" but to ease the way the seat is sitting on a mountain bike shock to eliminate the bumps etc. The reliant axle has been shortened to bring the crown wheel in line with output sprocket, the differential has had cut outs to run the chain, as stated earlier a rear sprocket will be needed to bolt to crown wheel in diff to run the chain drive. The engine has had a strip down / rebuild and now sports an SU carburettor on a one off manifold, looks cool and is easy to maintain. The tank is an original Wassell peanut tank..super rare, with air brushed rising sun and samurai design.Chunky aluminium forward controls and clip on handle bars sound like a strange combination but the seating position is comfortable. I have put a photo of me sitting on trike to show seating position also to show how compact the trike is! I am a short arse at 5'8" so this trike is ideally suited to us shorter individuals or a lady. Which brings me to the point of the engine size although only a 250cc engine the trike is very compact with a low seat height and weights very little so it will stomp along nicely easily keep the pace with larger machines, also if your brave enough it's narrow enough to even filter... I have put a reserve price on the trike which in reality doesn't cover the cost of the new parts bought for this build. But hey Ho. . I need the room so it has to go one way or another. So if your looking for a project with literally a couple of days work to finish ready for the good weather this could be the one for you. Obviously its in project status so will need a trailer or a van to collect cash on collection please and no time wasters. If there is anything else you want to know just message and ask. Cheers for looking :-)
