This 95 kx 500 trike uses the untouched frame and suspension from the kx 500 bike.  The triple tree clamps are made form billet polished aluminum with the stock forks which have just been rebuilt.  The handler bars are protapers with a Honda 250r thumb throttle and front master cylinder.  The front wheel is from a 350x with a chrome moly custom axle, new bearings and seals, and still maintains the kx front caliper and rotor.  The front fender is from maier plastic and is for a 200x.  The rear shock was also rebuild and uses the stock swing arm.  The swing arm has all new bearing and seals and so does all the rear linkage.  The rear of the swing has been modified to fit the rear end from a yamaha tri-z 250.  The axle tabs have been removed from the rear of the swing arm and has been boxed in using 5/16 thick 6061 aluminum plate.  New ears have been welded onto the swing arm that are 6061 1/2 thick aluminum plate to bolt the rear axle carrier to. The whole rear end is tri-z except for the wheel hubs, there are from a banshee.  The bearings and seals in the rear axle are new also.  The seat is the stock kx but has been modified slightly to fit.  The rear fenders are from a tecate 4 wheeler and are in rough shape.  That came from a flat tracker quad and have been cut down.  They have cracks though them which have been repaired with zip ties and rivets. Brand new fenders can be bought through maier for about $230.  The rear wheels and tires are new, and front tire is almost new condition.  Front and rear brake pads are also new.  All of the levers, the kicker, rear wheels, silencer, triple tree clamps have been polished.  The foot pegs have been modified and are from a 400x.The motor has just been rebuilt.  It is sleeved and bored .020 over stock size.  Has brand new wiseco piston kit in the top end.  The crank was also rebuild with a new hot rod crank kit by local dealer (Cernic's), and has new main bearings and seals.  Has a dynoport pipe and a fmf power core silencer just freshly repacked. The pipe has some small dings on it, but had a larger dent in it but I cut that part out, straight the dent out and rewelded that section back in. The right case has been repaired sometime in its life before I got it.  It is welded up on the back bottom side, right behind the foot peg.  It doesn't leak and looks like somebody did a pretty good job on it.  The rear spocket hub has a crack in it but doesn't effect the spocket.  It runs true.  The hub has been machined to place the sprocket on the opposite side of it, so the sprockets would be in line. You'll see the hub is different from a fractory Tri-z hub. This trike is correctly built and rides very nice. Much nicer and smoother than the older style factory trikes. The wheel base is about 61" which is about 10" longer than a 250r trike.  The inverted forks make a big difference over conventional forks.  The spockets are in line perfectly with each other and the stock carb and air box are just like stock.  The headlight is a LED and runs off a voltage regulator, which is powered by a lighting coil form the fly wheel.  It operates on a switch and does dim down when idling, but brightens up when revved up. Now for shipping, local pick up is free and I am willing to drive a short distance(75 miles) to meet half way.  A $500 deposit (nonrefundable) must be made before I leave my house.  Buyer is fully responsible for any shipping.  I will not ship.  I am not familiar with setting up shipping with something of this size and don't want hassled with it.  I am the builder of this trike and can answer any questions you may have, you can call or text (814)659-two four six six. I also have a title for it, but it hasn't been actual transferred from a previous owner sometime ago.  This trike is very fast, powerful, and a blast to ride.  It isn't for inexperienced rider, also it is very dangerous.  So if you are unfamiliar with trikes and how they ride, please don't waste my time or your life. I am not responsible for any injury that could occur form this machine.  Trikes were banned for a reason, so please be responsible.  This trike is sold as is, with no warranty.
