I bought this thinking, to use it locally to go to the store and senior centers,add a crate on back and the storage under the seat would haul a weeks stuff for me. etc.It was DARK Blue factory paint in very good condition.60 miles to local dealer. New tires Michelin's,full tune and all fluids service,and a >side stand added,scooter would not stand up on center-stand in my all sand desert driveway Second week a winter visitor from Canada turns in front of me at a intersection. I lay it down to prevent the crash. He drives off,sees me get up. Cops catch him and he says he did not see me,of course from Canada not many scooters or motorcycles there. No insurance.In the next 3 weeks locally I am turned in front of 4 more times. "Its the Dark Colored Paint". So now I take to the side streets. All covered with loose sand. "MICHELIN" >>city tire that the dealer installed. It has NO grooves or tread in the center of the tire. Says "City" on the tire. Like riding on a bald tire. Probley would be great on pavement.Apply the front brake and and the front tire skids on the loose sand. Down 2 more times on the road. I take back to dealer and he gives me a new front tire more suited to my area. FREE. He has never been to Apache Junction.It use to be a stage coach stop from Tucson on your way to Phoenix.That's it!!!!! No more hit the street for me (75 years old) with Medicare and my 20% pay out. I sand and fix all the scratches,prime with urethane primer over all and paint 'SCHOOL BUS YELLOW" with red trim. I did not paint the front fender it has some scratches and it is Plastic. I do have enough paint to finish it if you can fix real plastic. If they do not see me now, it must be they are aiming for me.So I can't ride it and relax for a instant here in the desert,too many old drivers and the sand on the road with these 12" tires is not to good. Back to my old Honda XL 350 enduro,I just wish it had a electric starter.
