Here for sale is my Quad Bike Project! NO RESERVE! so grab a bargain!Dont know a huge deal about it but what I do know is:+ 250cc air cooled 4 stroke engine
+ Automatic gearbox
+ Twin drum brakes on the front
+ Disc brake on the rear
+ Chain drive
+ Electric and kick start (have tested the electric start with another battery and is working well)
+ Good tyres and wheels
+ Good seat
+ Chassis is solid
+ Suspension is fully working and comfy
+ Steering is fully working and easy to turn
+ Sweets sounding engine
+ Exhuast is quiet and solid
+ Comes with a spare wheel with good tyreThings to look into:
- None of the electrics work! Probably the dead battery but needs sorting. Wiring loom has not be cut about etc, all looks original
- Typical of a quad bike the farings have seen better days but still useable and functioning!
- Engine is a pig to start but when it does it sounds as sweet as a nut. Idles well and revs with no bad noises or rattles
- Ignition barrel is with it but removed as we lost the keys! Dont worry a full reciept will be given!
- Brakes are free and operational from the hubs but the brake cables need freeing/oiling - I will try and do this before the auction ends
- Rear hydraulic disc brake needs a new master cylinder (generic bike brake)So basically a rock solid start for a project and wouldnt take that much to get it running like a charm. What you see is what you get! Please make sure you have satisfied yourself with the condition of it before bidding. Its is a project and will need work!Collection within 3 days of auction ending unless agreed otherwis before the auction ends. Delivery is possible but PLEASE CHECK WITH ME FIRST for a price - I will obviously need the quad paying for first.Thanks for looking and good luck!
