For sale is an old Kawasaki KLT 200 3-Wheeler. It is a 1981 and has an electronic ignition. The serial number is JKALTNA10BB509998. This is a barn queen. My friend said it had been sitting in the back of his barn for about 15 years because of the dead battery. We tried to get it started last year, but the pulser coil on ignition system was not working and tested faulty. It senses the crank position. The rubber fuel lines were also leaking. The front tire won't hold air at all, but the rear tires are in like new condition, less the age and they leak down slowly. They still have the little whiskers on them, so they likely just need to be reseated by using them, or maybe they have tubes. It likely needs a new battery too, since the side sucked in when we filled it up for some reason, but it cranked the engine over the night we were working on it. There are two cracked areas in the rear fenders, and the seat cover is cracked. The chain and sprockets look good, and the tank held fuel, less the leaking fuel hose. This was one of the best of the 3-Wheelers made because they put the gas tank down low and between the rear wheels to make it safer and to have a lower center of gravity. I am sure the spay can camo job could likely be cleaned off with some thinner or mineral spirits or a pressure washer, and then polished back out. I polished a lot of the old plastic parts on a bike I restored, and the parts ended up look new. It just takes a lot of time. :-) I am located in downtown Mount Pleasant, Texas (Northeast Texas). For local pick-up. I would be willing to build a crate for it if you arrange and pay for all the shipping charges. This item is sold as is with no returns. It is what it is, and old non-running 3-Wheeler.
