1988 Mitsubishi Minicab 4WD Van. 550 cc 3-cylinder Cyclone engine with Supercharger (!). Japanese import with approx. 60k miles (94k km). 5-speed transmission plus high/low range transfer-case and auto-locking hubs. Right hand drive (RHD) but easy to drive - small and light; easy shifting and steering; excellent visibility. Runs and drives great - I've been driving for the past week and put about 200km on it in the Seattle area. Very comfortable around town and good torque from 2000RPM up for climbing hills. The supercharger really lessens the need to wind it out up hills in town. Able to venture on to the freeway but high-speed alarm starts at 85 km/h - but winds up to 100 km/h or a tick over 60+MPH with power to climb modest inclines at that speed. This thing is awesome gathering thumbs up everywhere it goes. Looks like a micro Vanagon Syncro or a vintage Puch Haflinger Van. Has privacy curtains for catching some zzz's. Ideal for fetching supplies and toodling around rural roads. Simple and weather-tight utility vehicle with powerful heater and Air Conditioning (works but not particularly cold). A comfortable alternative to a Kawasaki Mule; John Deere Gator; Polaris Ranger; Kubota RTV900 or other 4x4 UTV / ATV or golf cart. Lots of options in 12" ATV tires for off-road or turf. Or standard road tires available on TireRack. Have not yet titled but easy for new owner to do so with the included docs:
Original owners manual;
Japanese de-registration (like title);
Import forms
NHTSA HS-7;
EPA 3520-1;
Customs 7501.
If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks and happy bidding!
