The Mudd-Ox XL was designed with one goal in mind: an industrial grade amphibious ATV with a larger towing/load capacity. With a fully amphibious body, you can float right across bodies of water. Mudd-Ox utilizes a 45 hp Kubota turbo diesel engine to power its hydraulic drive system. It has the most precise controls in the industry with the ability to instant forward/reverse, and counter rotate on a dime. Mudd-Ox is ready for every season. Use it for pulling an amphibious trailer to a work site, to plowing the neighborhood driveways.Mudd-Ox has a zero turning radius, superior ride quality and is simple to control with usability features such as regulated engine speed and total control without the need for gear changes. The 45 hp Kubota turbo diesel engine offers excellent power and torque at low revs with high reliability, providing economy and the ability to operate efficiently in extremes of conditions. Gentle, fingertip control can be achieved for very precise movement, torque is applied exactly in accordance with control input and the high capacity drives can convey massive amounts of power as required – offering both power and precision without compromise to either. By moving one lever forward and the other backwards the wheels on one side can be made to rotate in the opposite direction to the other. This provides a stunning level of precise positional and manoeuvre control, for instance the machine can easily be made to rotate about its center point. This degree of precision cannot be achieved using conventional skid steering, which brakes the wheels on one side and causes the vehicle to ‘skid’ around the braked wheelset.
