Yamaha tri-z 250 1985.If you are reading this add then you already know what you are looking at.I've had this bike for several years and as you can see its in its original and un restored condition. This is a 31 year old bike and is still looking great for its age.As you can see from the pictures it's not mint but on the other hand not a basket case either like a lot I've seen for sale.It still has it's Dunlop 25-8x12 front tyre with plenty of tread left (hard to find).The rears are kenda but I do have a pair of original used Dunlop rears available.All the plastics are in good condition although the front fender is cracked.Rear hub and swing arm bearings are all nice with no play.Forks are in good order as are the head stock bearings.The bike starts first kick and has good compression and bags of power.Both frame and engine numbers are matching.The clutch case has at some time in its life been repaired as these are a known weak point but it has been done nice and neatly and not bodged with filler !The one thing that does need attention is the rear shock, although in good condition It does need re gassing.This is an all together straight and tidy ready to go tri-z.I know I'll regret selling this bike as I've had several of them over the years and know how much fun they are but I'm now funding my new midlife crisis toy.I would prefer cash on collection and would like to see the auction run.I have quite a few bits and pieces for these bikes which I've accumulated over the years also for sale.
