I'm selling my 1988 Yamaha DT50 Enduro Off Road / On Road dirt bike. These things are rare. I purchased at the beginning of the year and no longer have a use for it. It's a cheap way to transport around town, and because it's 2 stroke, 49CC engine, pre-mix gasoline and oil (much more reliable). Black in color with white head light assembly. New tachometer display (fuel and mph function not hooked up). Mileage is unknown.Good: Tires and wheels are in great shape.Seat is in great shape, no rips or tears.Frame is solid.Headlight and taillight function properly, turn signals function properly.New side mirrors.Sprockets changed by prior owner, bike will run 45+ mph with a 150lb rider.Engine has great compression and until recently, performed perfectly (see below).Bad:Needs a new carb or good carb cleaning by capable mechanic. Military transferred from VA to GA, and had to drain the gas tank for moving company to ship. When arrived at new location, refilled gas tank which moved particulate into the carb. Bike will start when pushed and clutch popped but shuts down after a few seconds (due to engine not getting gasoline).Selling because I do not have time/ability to fix (or motivation as we now have a 3 month old daughter).Feel free to ask questions.
