Description

This 1958 Lambretta 150LD is all there and all original. That's the good news. The other news is that it needs a full restoration. It has lots of patina! However, it's also a great starting point considering that all the key, hard-to-find parts and sheet metal are here. As the fellow I bought it from told me, "It's all there and needs everything." That's as honest a description as you could wish for. Don't expect to buy this scooter and wipe it down with an oily rag, pour in a bit of gas and hit the road. You should be prepared for the joys of a restoration. This particular 150LD model was built in the original Innocenti factory in Italy, not one of the licensee assembly locations elsewhere in Europe, Asia or South America. If you are new to the classic scooter  hobby you will be pleased to know that there is an enthusiastic owner base and an excellent supply of new and reproduction parts. Please inquire if you'd like any further information on this scooter or any additional photographs. This will be a no reserve auction. I may end the auction early if there are no bids as it is also for sale locally. However, once there is a bid, or multiple bids, the eBay auction will run to its conclusion. I haven't named a Buy-it-Now price, but I'd be open to well-reasoned offers.A $100 deposit through PayPal is required within 24 hours of the auction closing. I would prefer payment of the balance by cashier's check or cash, in person at pickup. If you wish to pay the full price by PayPal I will require a 3% premium to offset PayPal fees. Thanks for looking. The scooter may be inspected in person. Just contact me through eBay to make arrangements.
This scooter will be sold with a notarized bill of sale. I will assist the winning bidder with shipping but it is the winner's responsibility to make all necessary arrangements. If local pickup is desired, I'll certainly assist. Overseas bidders are also welcome. I will assist in shipping preparation but, once again, the winning bidder must make the arrangements. Please also note that any duty, customs fees or other import and registration costs are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. I will provide the necessary paperwork and documentation which will reflect the actual transaction price.
