Street Legal Kit Car Dune Buggy Very well built and street legal. I have done a complete ground up build of this buggy over the last 3 years. It is titled as a 1978 Kit Car. Based on a shorted VW chassis. You won’t find many buggies built this well. I put a ton of money and time into this build. It’s a lot of fun to drive with lots of power. It has no issue cruising 70MPH down the highway. I stripped this buggy down and welded in all new floor pans with additional bracing and structural support, the cage ties into 6 points also coming off the rear frame horns. The entire chassis was then coated with an extremely durable chassis coating. All new brake lines, fuel line/ etc., almost everything is new or rebuilt within the last 3 years. Suspension Link Pin front axle with adjusters for ride height Swing axle rear with HD torsion bushings Pro Street swing axle transmission built by Benco Racing -Gussets welded in case - Super beetle 3.78 1st gear -4.12 ring and pinion -welded hubs on synchronizers -hardened key ways -4 spider dual snap ring superdiff -HD aluminum side plate -new synchro’s, new main shaft bearing, new shaft clips, re-bushed gear carrier housing, welded cross haft -Rhino HD transmission mounts -Strap around bell housing for extra strength -intermediate under mount brace 2109 CC built engine -76mm CB Performance stroker crankshaft -94mm mahle pistons -Engle 120 Camshaft -CB Straight cut cam gears

-Rotating assembly professional dynamically balanced -Dual Weber 44mm Carbs -Kennedy stage 2 pressure plate -Bosch 009 distributer with pertronix electronic ignition -Bosch blue coil *Pictures show a different distributer and coil, it does not come with the one shown Full set of auto meter phantom gauges -Tach -speedometer -Oil temp -Oil Pressure -Voltage -Fuel -Front and rear bumpers, flag mount on front, tow eyes on front and rear as well. -LED taillights -LED plate light -LED backup light -New steering gear -Custom Speaker box/ tool box holds two kicker 6x9 speakers -Custom steel lock box holds cd player with aux input -Dual USB outlet and 12v outlet -Pre-Wired for aux front lights -High/ low headlights-Locking fuel door
-Keyed battery disconnect that isolates the battery. -All battery cables are 4 gauge fine stranded -RJS buggy belts (automotive style latch)-Caster Shims on front axle
Few things to note · -Fuel gauge is not accurate through gauge travel. It’s setup to read ¼ at ~2 gallons left in the tank. It also will intermittently not read, could be a ground, never fully looked into it. · -Speedometer reads about 5MPH less than actual speed. · -Paint is not perfect and has a scratch on the passenger side, has nicks and cracks but looks pretty good overall, I included pictures of this. · -There is no wiper motor, the arms are installed but not functional · -The brakes take 2 pumps for a perfect pedal, need fine adjusting. · -Engine drips a little around sump plate, very minimal considering it’s a VW. Clean Michigan kit car title in hand.
