Up for sale is my rather clean and tidy 1985 Honda ATC250sx Sport three wheeler. This is a strong running good riding machine. It is a low hour California bike that has not been beat on ridden hard. It has very low overall hours. Here are the details on the condition:Overall, a very nice and clean low hour machine Starts, runs and rides awesomePlastic looks really goodGood tiresBike comes with a chrome California desert 6 pack rackRest of bike is stone stockFront tire is 90% while back tires are around 75-80%. One tire still shows chalk line on it which came from factoryOriginal Honda keyMetal tank has light scuffs in it, but no major dents or heavy hits.Fender has a very small stress crack next to the glove box. It is not all the way through the plastics, but if you now about the 250sx, then you know that all these bikes get theseBack fenders and OEM mud guards are still perky and straight - no sagging
Headlight bezel has some light sun fading on the top. See pics. If I were keeping the bike, I might replace this, as it is the most noticeable blem on the bike, but honestly, its not even that bad.Electric start and battery work great. Fires right up at the press of a button.
Overall this is really nice and clean un-restored survivor. For a bike that is 31 years old, this machine is really nice, totally unmolested and original shape. The boring stuff (but please read):Shipping: I can assist with shipping or you are free to organize your own. I can currently ship insured (with a $500 deductible) and enclosed anywhere in the USA for $450. If you live in Maine, Long Island or the Florida keys there is a surcharge, but outside of that, the shipping rate is $450 to anywhere in the lower 48.
I can and will ship international, but the buyer must coordinate this, as the process can be cumbersome. I will assist as best as possible and do have really good access to shippers to the UK, Europe and Australia. I can also ship to the middle east as well. But please note that all paperwork will be handled by the buyer. Seller Notes:
If you are a serious buyer and have the money in hand, I am happy to talk to you on the phone about whatever questions or interest you have in the bikes. But please, no time wasters or tire kickers. If you are a serious buyer, it is available to be shown, but I am not looking for tire kickers or time wasters. The bike is located in Northern California. Payment: A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of closing, or a friendly phone call or clear email on who you are and how you intend to close the deal. I am very easy to work with, but a little clear communication goes a long way with me. Paypal is fine for deposit, but the fee and commission they take is very high. We will take payment however is easiest for you for to send, as we understand that some buyers might be out of the country. Cash, bank to bank payment, bank check, Paypal, WU, Carrier Pidgin - whatever - but as long as it clears our bank and you are not playing the Nigerian lottery with me, I could care less how it comes. Just make sure it comes when you say it will come. My bikes are always for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time if a local buyer comes forward. In case you are wondering anything about me as a seller, I have been on eBay since 1998 (thats over 18 years) and have not one negative feedback. I am just a nut for older dirt bikes and ATV's from the 1980's. I have a nice collection of bikes that I have built up over 15 years of collecting and messing about. I have several others that I am selling, including several 85 - 86 250r's and 350x's, as well as some Fourtrax TRX250r stuff. I am clearing out some bikes to make room for other projects. See my other listings for some more of my stuff, but I doubt I will get around to listing all of them.
