I am selling a rather nice and clean 1987 Honda Fourtrax TRX250r. It is in original California “as ridden” condition. It is not mint, but it is a rather clean, mostly low hour original survivor. These can be hard to find in this shape. I am the second owner of this bike.
Please carefully review the photos I have taken and feel free to ask any questions. Condition notes:The only non OEM items are the seat cover, bars and gripsSeat cover is redone, but it looks good and has the stock foam. No rips or tears.
Plastic is in decent shape. It does have some spider cracking and age related issues, but it still looks good
Rear fenders are good, normal signs of use, but no cracksFenders are not trimmed or altered
Both front fenders have (age related) minor spider cracks. See pics. But they are on the edges and do not look bad. Has OEM keyed ignition with original Honda Key Everything works well - bike runs, rides and sounds really good
Rear end is nice, swingarm and axle is rust free Bike comes with California title Bike does have some frame rub, but I have seen much worse OEM Ohtsu Tires are about 60%
Stock pipe and muffler are in good shapeTool box is in great shapeOEM rims have normal scuffs in them from useTires have a few small spots with some dry cracks, but they are not pervasive
Overall, This is a really nice, clean, matching numbers example of a good trx starts, runs, idles and works well. All the brakes work as they should, as do the headlight. It is getting harder and harder to find bikes in this condition.

I can and will ship international, but the buyer must coordinate this, as the process can be cumbersome. I will assist as best as possible and do have really good access to shippers to the UK, Europe and Australia. I can also ship to the middle east as well. But please note that all paperwork will be handled by the buyer. I dont do paperwork very well. Seller Notes: If you are a serious buyer and have the money in hand, I am happy to talk to you on the phone about whatever questions or interest you have in the bikes. But please, no time wasters or tire kickers. If you are a serious buyer, it is available to be shown, but I am not looking for tire kickers or time wasters. The bike is located in Northern California. Payment: A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of closing, or a friendly phone call or clear email on who you are and how you intend to close the deal. I prefer bank to bank wire transfers as the preferred method of payment. I am very easy to work with, but a little clear communication goes a long way with me. Paypal is fine for deposit, but the fee and commission they take is very high. We will take payment however is easiest for you for to send, as we understand that some buyers might be out of the country. Cash, bank to bank payment, bank check, Paypal, WU, Carrier Pidgin - whatever - but as long as it clears our bank and you are not playing the Nigerian lottery with me, I could care less how it comes. Just make sure it comes. I prefer bank to bank wire transfers as the preferred method of payment.
