Hi.I have for sale a Quadzilla XRV 250E buggy.Originally with a 250cc, about 15HP Honda Scooter engine, this has now changed to a Yamaha Radian engine (600cc and about 60HP).It's still not completely finished, but the hard bits are done, engine is in and wired, gear change is sorted, carbs have been rebuilt a couple weeks ago and are good to go.What's left to do is, wire the lights and finish sorting the brakes (bleeding and handbrake cable, but the outer sleeve is in place already), and get some decent air filters.I will supply a wiring diagram that I made since everything is custom. The engine runs and sounds healthy, I've changed the oil, filter and fitted new spark plugs. All the valve clearances have been checked and are correct. The carbs will need final syncing and tuning which can be done at any motorcycle garage or at home if you got the sync tool.Everything to finish is present.Just the pod filters should be changed for some proper foam ones. Being constant velocity carbs, they do enjoy some restriction and the mesh crappy chinese ones fitted are really not up to the job. And also the rear sprocket aswel, not because of damage or being worn as I'll explain next. Please bear in mind this is not a toy, right now the gearing will take it to about 200MPH (if the power was there) this is because of the 20 teeth rear sprocket which ideally should be changed to a bigger one.If you don't like speed or being glued to the seat everytime you put your foot down, don't buy this, it is truly frightening to drive. No MOT and is sorned, so bring a trailer, also it need going over on most nuts and bolts because it was completely taken apart to fit the engine, and is still a work in progress nothing was torqued down to final specs. So not really safe to go on road straight away even tho it has :).A competent mechanic will be able to finish it off in a couple weekends.Reason for sale is, my partner surprised me with what is ultimately my dream project. A full restoration off a 1st generation RX-7, and I want to completely devote my time to that.So good luck, viewing is welcomed and I'm available most days to show it. Bring a battery if you want to hear it run. It's located in Chard, Somerset. I can be reached at 07545344498 for any questions. Also I haven't changed the V5 for the new engine yet, so it's still dirt cheap to insure on the little 250 original engine.Cash on collection is the best way. but to follow eBay rules I will accept Paypal aswelSo, good luck and happy bidding.
