With a tear in my eye, the time has come to sell my 1985 Honda 350X restoration project. I bought this bike in very good condition and did a full makeover from top to bottom. I have over $4,000 in money spent on this project and recently went through a divorce and have decided to sell off some toys. I will not take a loss. Would rather keep it. This bike is very strong and runs like a champ. Here is what was done.-New Top End Wiseco High Compression Piston - Cylinder Honed, Valves set by professional Honda shop. Runs very strong! WHEELIES FIRST FEW GEARS-Bike Completely torn down-Carb Rebuild w new jets, gaskets-New Clutch Cable-New Decompression Cable-New OEM design Seat Cover-New Front Wheel Bearings & Seals-New Rear Axle Bearings & Seals and L2 Racing Axle Nut-New Swing Arm Needle Bearings & Seals-Tires have >75% life so decided to not change them-New Handle Bar Controls Switch Gear - OEM-Headlight Shroud Professionally Color Matched and Painted w Flexible Paint & Clear Coat - Entire Headlight is PRISTINE.....This alone could sell over $400 -All lights and Switches Work as They Should-Replaced Rear Brake Caliper, Removed Park Break Cable (Cable & Adapter will be provided with sale of bike)-Installed Aluminum Grab/Wheelie Bar-New Rear Light Lense & Bulb works Great-Like new Plastics - Not OEM but look awesome and are very clean-New Front Fork Boots-Bike Was Stripped / SandBlasted and POWDER COATED OEM Red / Sparkle Silver / Black) All Components (frame, handlebar, rear axle, swing arm, oil cooler shroud, front brake reservoir cage, axle hubs, Exhaust Header, Exhaust Muffler, Foot Pegs, Rear Brake & Shift Lever.) It will never rust of chip again!-Engine was stripped primed and painted high temperature engine paint SemiGloss Black.-All bolts & nuts were removed and polished and installed to proper torque.-New DID Chain-Fresh Hydraulic Brake Fluid-All parts cleaned, polished, re-greased and reassembled.Also included with the purchase are rear toolbox, new clutch kit, OEM Piston, HomeMade Chain Tightening Wrench, Maintenance Manual, New Oil FilterThe bike is located in Montoursville, PA I am selling locally and reserve the right to end this auction.
