I have a nice 2009 Yamaha FZS waverunner on a 2015 yacht club trailer for sale. It has a 1.8 liter supercharged engine that is rated at 210hp and will do 68mph on GPS. I purchased the ski to use as a back up and for friends to ride but other projects and priorities have taken priority and I decided to sell it. I bought the ski from a dealer in New Hampshire in a non running state. They had no idea what was wrong with it and I went through the entire ski and found the battery was bad and the starter solenoid was also bad which is why it wouldn't even turn over. The hour meter says 389 hours on the engine but this does not reflect the actual hours on the engine as the engine has been completely refreshed with new bearings (crank, rod and mag cover) all around, mag seal, piston rings and I also kissed it with a hone and it has a fresh cross hatch on the cylinders. The engine also received a new sprag clutch as I wasn't sure how many hours were on the one it came with and I didn't want it to fail 2 hours after I did all this work. This thing is ready to go with new spark plugs, fresh engine rebuild and fresh oil and filter and a new battery. This thing needs nothing other than a new owner that will treat it well. The outer condition appears pretty damn good considering it's an 8 year old ski. The gun whale is faded in spots and that's normal for this model. The seat cover is relatively new and it is black instead of the factory grey and looks nicer than factory. I'm a big black on black fan and reupholstering the seat black instead of factory grey adds a nice touch. I know some of you may be thinking, man, he's had his hands in the motor and I'm not sure about it. I just want to tell you that I am a mechanic by trade and I have very extensive experience working on and racing pwc's. I have built several high performance supercharged skis on this platform over the years and all of them went between 80-90mph on GPS with great reliability. I am currently building a brand new FX SVHO with a 500+ hp turbocharged system and that will be my new rec/race ski for this season. This ski came to me with almost 400 hours on it and I wanted to go through it with a fine tooth comb as I was planning on using it myself and I wanted to make sure it was the way it needs to be vs finding out the hard way that it was overdue for a refresh. It also gives me the opportunity to inspect and verify all the tolerances and specs so I know where everything is at instead of just taking chances and riding it without knowing what the condition is internally. I have the ski and trailer for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction early. The reserve is well below book so bid to win. Feel free to call/text me with any questions or concerns at 716-2zero8-729zero. Thanks for looking!!!
