509 completely re-tooled the Carbon Fiber C2 and shaved about 100 grams for a total weight of 1100 grams
The Carbon Fiber C2 features innovative new safety technologies in its EPS foam liner, specifically a dual density, interlocking liner material not found in inferior snowmobile helmets
Other features include a full carbon fiber shell, premium washable liner with air channels, 10 ventilation ports, cold weather breath-box, and DOT and ECE 22/05 rated certification
