Description
- Produced in two outer shell sizes of injected polycarbonate GE Lexan®, keeping the helmet’s weight to a minimum and proportionate to the rider’s size; the dimensionally correct sizing allows ample cubic volume in the chin/nose area
- Innovative ventilation system is also equipped with an air intake in the chin guard, an air intake in the frontal area and two rear extractors recycling air inside the helmet
- Includes internal sunscreen – short dark shield mounted on inside of the shell and moving independently from the clear shield with external operation
- Also equipped with an included Pinlock® anti-fog visor with silicone-sealed profile and the anti-fog insert
- The chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory keeps the total size of the helmet’s front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open and the “sail” effect is highly reduced and riding comfort is still guaranteed, even when the chin guard is lifted
- The exclusive dual-action chin guard opening system is positioned in the center of the chin guard, allowing for easy, one-handed opening
- Equipped with the new Microlock2® system, which consists of a plastic ergonomic opening lever and a second aluminum toothed and holding lever that releases the micrometric strip – the chin strap can only be opened with a very broad rotation of the opening lever
- Inner padding is easily removable, washable, anti-microbial and is made of highly breathable, soft and fresh fabrics
- The shape of the inner comfort padding facilitates eyeglass wearing and the reflective insert at the center of the removable roll neck further improves the rider’s visibility at night
- Eyeport is the largest of any Nolan®, both vertically and laterally, increasing safety by providing superior vision
- Helmet is N-COM ready; by purchasing and installing Nolan’s N-COM system, the helmet will be capable of connecting to an MP3 player, CD, GPS navigation system or cellular phone and allow driver-to-passenger communication or bike-to-bike communication through cable or wireless Bluetooth®; see pages 120-121
