1968 Honda C100. Extreme rare condition and miles! 50cc model recently discovered in storage inside for approximately for 40 plus years. It appears that kick start shift was broken off and parked at 428 original miles. In my possession for approxaimently 10 months were I completed the below maintenance and it fires right up almost immediately. It appears to still have original motor oil from factory. You can put in 3rd gear and walk 2-3 steps and it fires right up with zero choke whatsoever and idles perfectly and has never stalled. Feels like a new machine and I guess it is in theory? Couple imperfections here and there but considering that there’s less than 500 miles it’s close to museum quality. Original ignition switch but due to loss of key, had key made by locksmith. Steering lock works but on different key. No clutch on this bike, 3 speeds, brakes work fine cause their brand new from factory. Purchased a new kick start shaft, kick start lever, and complete engine gasket kit (Almost $200.00) which goes with sale. It runs like new and I haven’t had the heart to change it. Headlight, taillight, speedometer light, and stator work because they get brighter with twist of the throttle. Speedometer needle works fine as I had someone grease entire scooter. This bike is like going into a time capsule, absolutely non replaceable at this original 1968 condition! Believe it has 495 original miles now, so it’s had about 67 miles put on it since around 1976??? WOW! · Replaced original tires and tubes with new Michelin gazelles which still have all the nubs. · No rust in tank but cleaned · Changed original air filter Mirrors were not on bike so purchased new correct ones from over seasM · Cleaned OEM carb and float and petcock and work perfectly with no leaks. · Plastic leg shield was starting to crack in 2 places on left side of bike so it was glued on back side to prevent further cracking Sold “As Is”, pick up only! No reserve auction. I can send video of running to U.S. cell phone if requested
