VW Sand Rail / Dune Buggy, 1500cc, Rebuilt Engine, Tow Bar with Brake Lights

I have started it at a low price because the fuel pump recently went up. Before that it was running
great. I can still start it by putting a little gas in the carburetor and it sounds good. I would replace it if I had the money. The only reason for selling is because I need the money to pay bills. No Reserve price.
Dune Buggy/Sand Rail, Custom made using a VW Bug, Garage kept.
Only a few hundred miles were driven after the 1500cc engine was completely rebuilt.
I would use it 2 to 3 times a year, in the spring or fall on camping trips.
This is a nice Sand Rail, well made, in great shape.
It comes with, a quick release Tow Bar that was installed with brake lights (for towing) so you can hook up an go in 5 minutes or less and when you are ready to take it for a ride, all you have to do is remove 2 pins, take the bar off and you're ready to go. You can see that in the pictures. Matching white wheels has mud flaps, lights, seat covers with nice pads, seat covers are not in the picture. They are black with an extra 2" firm pad for the seats, racing seat belts, good battery and a wide view rear mirror. It has many new parts, belt, coil, gas filter, chrome valve covers, all the parts that came with the rebuild, Pistons, Rings, Cylinder walls etc. and a new oil filter. I do have a chrome cover for the engine belt that is not in each picture. In the pictures you will see a aluminum bar behind the seats attached to the the frame. It's only purpose is to support a spare tire. Does come with a spare. The tire would rest on that and I would strap it to the frame. It could be removed or use it for a spare. I have a nice 1-1/2" aluminum black rail that would look great that you may have to replace the aluminum color one.
