For sale is my 2006 Yamaha yfz with an 09 Kawasaki Ninja 650r engine. This is a very reliable 2-cylinder efi 4 stroke engine with about 70 horsepower.The plastic is is Maier and is nice other than a few scratches. The exhaust is custom true dual exhaust so you can really hear the twin cylinders. The exhaust is coated with high temp paint. The intake is dual pod filters under the gas tank cover. The fuel tank is under the seat. It has a temp gauge on the dash. The front a-arms are extended and the axle is stock. New DID chain and steel sprockets. It has an Antigravity lithium battery. Everything works as it should: headlights, led taillight, etc. A horn, gauges, and turn signals can be added if you want. Clear title in hand. Currently registered in Iowa. It starts, runs, and drives great! I am the original builder so please ask any question you have. I am a school teacher and I build these over the winter. I'm selling this to fund my next project. The only thing I don't like about this build is the fact that the motor had to be a little higher than a yfz engine so the front sprocket is higher that factory. This makes the chain lose its tension when the rear suspension goes up. I had to add a chain roller inside of the lower part of the chain, so when the suspension comes up, the chain keeps its tension. This works great other than the fact that you can hear the chain on the roller sometimes. I can help with delivery for 50 cents per mile one way from Rock Valley, IA.
