NO RESERVE!!!!  NO RESERVE!!!  High Bidder Wins!!     1975 VW Dune Buggy   Street Legal !   Fast !   Disc Brakes !   Runs very strong !   This is a 1975 Volkswagen Buggy. The motor was rebuilt less than 100 miles ago, in February, 2017. By rebuilt, I mean it was completely rebuilt!! New Pistons, Jugs, Heads, electrical, MSD ignition, new carburetors, yellow top battery, etc.   This has a high performance motor, it’s very fast.   Tires are in excellent condition.  There are two sets of front tires. One set for sand, one for street.   Seats and paint are in great condition.   You could not build this buggy yourself for less than $20,000.   You will be very happy with this car.  It is solid, drives perfect and would rate in very good condition.  It has just passed the state inspection (Texas).   The Buggy is located in New Braunfels Texas, South of Austin, and North of San Antonio.  You are welcome to come and drive it before you bid.  If you drive it, you will buy it!   My Brother-in Law moved to Texas in 2008 and decided to get his car dealer license because he loves to buy and sell cars and motorcycles.  It has always been more of a hobby than a business (thank god, or he would starve) He only buys and sell a couple cars every month and he is very picky about what he buys.   Two years ago I ask my Brother-in-law to find me a Dune Buggy.  He and I looked at a lot of Buggy’s, nothing was what I wanted.  Last year we found this buggy.  It was owned by an 84 year old man who lived near Austin. The man passed away and left the buggy in his garage.  A month after his death, his property was flooded and the insurance company paid a claim to his wife for everything on the property, including the buggy.  We bought the buggy through from the insurance company (Originally had a salvage title, now it has a rebuilt title) My Brother-in-law kept it in his dealerships inventory as he was having the motor rebuilt and fixing it up for me.  It took nearly a year to finish it, by that time I purchased a new Indian Motorcycle and a boat.  My wife and I agree (mostly my wife) that I can’t have all of these toys, no place to put them.  I spoke to my Brother-in-law and told him that I would list the buggy on eBay and pay the difference for any money lost.  I decided to list it as no reserve and hope to recover what he has invested in it.  Because he is a dealer, he can handle all of te paperwork for the new owner.   Issues:  there is a small chip in the paint on the right rear fender, very small.  The speedometer is an aftermarket system that runs off of the front wheel; it’s not hooked up. I use a GPS to show speed, so I never fixed it.  There are some aftermarket gauges on the top of the dash that need to be wired in, or removed.  I was going to remove them but decided to leave them in case the new owner wants to use them.   This car will sell to the high bidder regardless if that is $500 or $20,000. I really hope to get what this car is worth but I will trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay.  Whoever wins this bid will be very happy! This is a  no reserve, no gimmicks . I will be happy to help you arrange to get the car to your home as long as it has been paid for before it leaves my driveway.  You could fly into San Antonio or Austin and drive it home. The winning bidder will need to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours and the balance within 5 days.  You can leave the buggy here as long as you wish once it is paid for. Trade ?  My Brother-in-law  will accept a trade as long as it is not junk.  It’s tricky to accept a trade on a “no reserve auction” so here is what I offer:  If you have a trade you must notify me before you bid on this car and we will come to an agreement as to what your trade is worth.  You can then bid on the Buggy and, if you win the bid, I will apply the value of your trade toward the purchase price.  You will either need to pay the difference in value or we will pay you if your trade is worth more. This is a true NO RESERVE!  High Bidder Wins!
