1973 Vespa 150 Super with 600 miles on the odometer. The last time it was in use was 1976. I bought it from the daughter of the original owner. She first had hired me to work on it in 2011. After getting it running for her, she never used it and in 2014 offered it for sale. I have replaced the tire tubes, repainted the rims with the correct color match, installed a windshield, and added fuel catalyst pellets from England to the fuel tank. Originally I had to rebuild the carburetor and replace the fuel valve, clean out the gas tank, and replace some of the rubber parts, and a general service maintenance. I have put on all the original Italian accessories that were purchased with the scooter in 1973 for photographing. The original owner bought a lot of accessories as can be seen in the pictures. Vintage chrome trim, turn signals, spare tire and luggage rack, ornamental wheel covers, and package basket. I have keys to the storage compartment but not to the steering column(I wanted to have the original Neidermann lock patterned rather than to replace it with a modern one.)
The paint is in great shape with a few nicks and scratches that have happened in storage over the decades and can be seen in the pictures. Mechanically this machine is excellent and starts easily and runs great with all the extra power of a 2 stroke engine and a really neat sound when cruising. The glass fell out of the mirror though. I ride it every so often to keep it in working order but I have only gone through one tank of fuel since I've owned it. No Paypal on this sale.
