This is a very nice example of the best-engineered, most reliable, and sadly, the last all-metal 2-stroke Vespa Scooter.  It is in original condition (its only original once!) with some nice upgrades throughout. I have owned it since 2013.  During this time it has had no mechanical failures.  I've changed the gearbox oil and cleaned the carb every winter, ran only premium gas, and kept the battery on a trickle charger.  I'll do my best to describe it completely, but please send questions and I'll answer them quickly and add more photos as needed.
Body:  Straight, fair paint, NO bondo, some surface corrosion but no serious rust or rot.  Garaged since I have owned it, and by the previous owner.  Frame serial number VSX1T34596 manufactured 12/1979 in Genoa, Italy.  It is NOT an Indian knock-off or Asian restoration.  Motor:  Strong!  24mm carb, oil injector works (always used Motul, not the cheap stuff).  Moves the bike along at about 65 mph with a 180 pound rider at 5280 feet!  Carb is jetted to run at altitude, and will need to be re-jetted and adjusted if at sea level or will run too lean.  Engine serial number is 0076639.Transmission: 4 speed manual, good clutch with no jumpiness.  Shifts smoothly into all gears, never drops out of 2nd. Neutral light doesn't work (cable detached).Tires:   I put 2 Michelin S1 sport tires on new aftermarket (Prima) rims when I bought it.  Very soft and grippy, no noticeable treadwear.  Has older painted rim with older, but good S83 for spare.Suspension:  Has adjustable Sebac performance shocks, front and rear, installed by previous owner.  They really do give it a nicer ride, not the 'riding on the high seas' you get on most P-series Vespas.Electrics: Bright light (high and low), working turn signals, horn, new plug, older but working battery.  Starts on 1st or 2nd kick.  Exhaust: Sito Plus (installed in 2013) gives the bike a bit faster acceleration and top end, as well as a nice (but not TOO loud) pop.Seat: Original and nice.  A bit more grey than black like it used to be.  Lockable too.  A bit hard to latch sometimes.Rack: Prima brand chrome.  Holds 2 pizzas or 30 beers.Rubber bits:  Grips good, kickstart rubber fair, floormat good, brand new center stand boots.  Good air intake rubber too.Speedo:  Works great!  Glass is scratched up by keys (bad ignition key placement on this model).  Odometer reads 12,567.  I have no reason to believe this is not accurate.Fuel:  Very clean tank.  New fuel tap installed by me.  Turns from 'off' to 'run' to 'reserve' a bit hard but seems to be loosening up.Misc:  Includes small but very complete tool-kit, bottle for extra oil, owners manual, 2 keys.
