I have a nice 2003 polaris sportsman 400 4x4 for sale. The atv looks good for its age. It has its dings and scratches.  It runs excellent. All the lights work. Headlights are very bright. Shifts good. Just put new tires on it 2 months ago. Nice looking gray and black rims. Handgaurds that match the color of the 4 wheeler. New seat cover, installed by me. It is Moose brand, with a yellow moose badge on the rear of it. It looks nice.  I paid around 40 for it on ebay. These atvs are known for their comfortable ride. They are the cadillacs of atvs. The seat is very wide and is very comfortable for passengers.
This is a powerful atv. I have owned a 500 model and I cannot tell much difference in power.
I have the fan hooked up to where it turns on when you turn the key on.
The cdi box must be bad, because the atv will not shut off when you turn the key off. It shuts off easily by pulling the choke. That's why I never replaced the cdi box. All lights and fan work properly when turning the key on, and shut off properly.
The front left wheel will need some work. It rides great as is, but I have the clutch removed that works the 4 wheel drive on that wheel. It kept engaging by itself. I never had time to figure out why, so I removed it.  The other front wheel has it still, so the atv has 3 wheel drive when you engage the 4x4 button. Easy fix im sure, just don't have the time. I honestly never have had to put the atv in 4 wheel drive. I never drove it in deep mud.
The atv has minor scratches and scuffs, to be expected with a 2003 atv, but overall pretty clean.
Speedometer does not work. Aftermarket replacements are pretty cheap. I don't think you need one on an atv, so I never bothered with replacing.  Mileage unknown because of bad speedometer. The atv does not have a pull rope. Something I overlooked when I bought it. It has never been needed, as the atv starts up fine every time. Muffler has small holes that make it louder than normal. I kinda like the way it sounds. Again, this is a 2003 model, it has its wear and tear to be expected. Overall, I rate it in good condition. I think it looks great. It is a nice shade of green. Speedometer is damaged and does not work. I never replaced. Never really needed a speedometer on an atv anyway. You can purchase cheap aftermarket speedometers on ebay with lots of different styles and bright colors.
I am a very honest person and have listed everything that I know of that is wrong with the atv. All the problems I listed, I consider minor issues. The atv is ready for the trail right now. It is very reliable. Has a good strong battery too.  I love this atv and the only reason I'm selling is because I need to raise some quick cash.
No title, but will make a bill of sale.
PaymentA deposit of $500 must be paid within 24 hours via paypal. Full payment required  within 7 days,  or if you want to pick up the atv, I will accept cash in hand. No checks, sorry, not experienced in selling something this expensive on ebay and am scared to accept any kind of checks except certified cashiers checks. I will accept payment via paypal or cash in hand. ShippingBuyer is responsible for pickup or delivery. I have not sold things this large and have no idea where to start. I will gladly help in any way I can. Feel free to message me with any questions. Bid with confidence! This is my first time selling an atv on ebay, but not my first time selling.  I have sold rare fossils on ebay for years and have an excellent feedback rating.  No reserve! If it goes for starting price then someone just got a heck of a deal :)Good Luck!
