I have too many toys...so I have decided to sell a few. This ad is for my pair of 1980 John Deere snowmobiles.The 1980 John Deere Trailfire 440 snowmobile has been in the family since new. It has been a well maintained machine that was always kept indoors. It is very nice. It would be hard to find one that is nicer. It has minor imperfections such as little cracks in the seat and a small piece of the windshield broken off...but it is not new. It runs and drives great and needs nothing. The carburetor was recently rebuilt...and it has a new pull rope. A lot of maintenance and repairs were done recently (lots of cleaning and polishing, too). The skis have new runners on them as well. It is a nice machine.The 1980 John Deere Sportfire snowmobile belonged to a friend. It was stored indoors but didn't get as much TLC. It was a well maintained machine though. It runs and drives great...and is faster and more powerful than the Trailfire. I realize it is not the prettiest machine...but it is still a fun toy. A new windshield will make it look much nicer...and recovering the seat will also help with eye appeal.Overall, you will be getting two fun toys that are getting really rare.
