Street legal sand rail/dune buggy for sale.  Runs and drives well.  Ready to be disassembled, powder coated and put back together.   We recently (April) had this buggy down to Little Sahara dunes in Oklahoma and it did well, even without paddles. You Tube link at the end of the description.Engine is a 3.5L V6 from an Oldsmobile IntrigueTrans is a Volkswagen Bus 6 ribSuspension is EibachTires/rims are Mickey ThompsonHas turning break, hydraulic clutch, removable steering wheel, everything to be street legal (Blinkers, brake lights, running lights, high/low beam headlights, reverse lights, 4 point seat belts)Built and inspected in Kansas by a father/son team who had a parting of the ways before finishing.  I purchased it from them in 2013.  It's titled as a 2009.  The Kansas assigned VIN is KS129148.  I have clean/clear title in my possession.  I quickly realized I have too little time to finish it up and enjoy it, but held onto it for several years just in case things changed because I really didn't want to part with it.  We drive it occasionally on the country roads around us and it runs really good. It needs a few things to be REALLY good:Finish hooking up the gauge package (Right now only the Temp gauge works)  All others are in placeCould either use electric power steering as it takes a little effort with the small steering wheel at lower speeds, but is pretty good once your moving.Clutch linkage seems to get stiff if it's sits for a while, but once you use it again it seems to work itself out and operates well.Every now and then if you're just plugging along it seems to stumble a little bit, but a blip of the throttle and everything is back to normal (I think the O2 sensor is too close to the exhaust exit without enough back pressure to make it read right all the time)Overall it's a lot of fun and has given us no issues.  If you have the time and moderate skills this would be a great project to finish up and enjoy.  Thanks for looking and good luck.  You can't even think about building one for double the Buy It Now price, not even figuring in labor. You Tube Link:  https://youtu.be/senPdGhTTNwI will be unavailable from May 27-Jun 3.  I will check my messages as often as possible, so if you have any questions, please ask.
