This is a REAL Meyers Manx II. It is NOT a clone. I have the certification verified by Bruce Meyers. Co, which states that it is an authentic Meyers Manx! There is over $21,000 worth of restoration on this buggy and I have a portfolio of receipts to nearly every repair and restoration fee to prove it. The 1600cc engine was completely rebuilt back in 2014. The fiberglass has been painted with a high-quality cherry red metal flake paint. The paint job alone cost nearly $9,000! It literally SPARKLES in the sunlight and turns a lot of heads on the road; pictures DO NOT do justice. Minor everyday wear on the fiberglass from driving around town. Sidepods were added for a fuller looking body. The chassis is from a 59' VW Beetle, which has no signs of rust. Racing seats were installed, which are ridiculously comfortable to sit in and even recline to a near 90-degrees. All four tires are BF Goodrich and have plenty of rubber left. The headlights are chrome plated with glass covering just like the original VW Beetle. Authentic Meyers Manx hood and tail emblem, along with the authenticity plaques: one from the late 60s, the other from when the buggy was re-verified as authentic back in 2014. 4-speed manual transmission. Buggy handles well; doesn't pull to either side when steering. Brakes are responsive and don't squeak in the slightest. The only drawback is the right side of the electrical is grounded out, which results in a slower blinker on the right side, but both blinkers are still functional. I just never took the time to have it rewired properly as they still worked. I have a clean Florida title, which is registered in my name. It pains me to sell it, but I just don't have room for it anymore. This Manx is ready to be bought and driven on the road!
